Event Details

Building a strong Jewish identity in our children is a long-held value of our community and one we have struggled with for generations - how to assimilate without losing our unique identity as a people. 

Join Rabbi Dennis Eisner, the Senior Rabbi of Peninsula Temple Beth El and Wornick Board Trustee for a free one-hour teleconference in which he will share leading research, history, philosophy and ideas for building strong Jewish identities in our children - from pre-school to high school.  Rabbi Eisner's talk will discuss:

  • Historical trends and current pressures impacting the development of Jewish identify
  • Home and community activities to foster Jewish Identity
  • Impact of various educational programs in creating strong Jewish identity
  • Role of summer camps and recreation

This is a interactive call and you can dial in from anywhere but space is limited.  A free ticket is required to participate.  The ticket includes the passcode for the teleconference.
